Shoonya Haasyam (2016)
An Adaptation of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream
This was a very creative dance-theatre presentation. Shoonya Haasyam was a Bharatanatyam adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play ‘Much Ado About Nothing’. Shoonyam in the Sanskrit language means ‘nothing’ and ‘Haasyam’ refers to comedy – An apt title for ‘Much Ado About Nothing’.
